Today’s interview is with the owner of the highest volume Midas Service Center, in the world, Mark Smith. This episode is about the equation of your heart and your brain to determine what emotionally and intellectually engages you.
Mark has owned and operated the Richmond, Virginia Midas Market for more than 20 years. Since 2012, his Short Pump location is the highest volume location in the entire Midas system by far.
You will also hear us talk about:
- How Mark has become known for the many non-profit organizations he is involved in. And, how it all started unstrategically (if that’s a word) from a single event in American history.
- The key metric to keep loyal customers and dedicated followers engaged.
- When 6 x 18 does not equal 108. As a matter of fact, how Mark calculates it the number is actually much bigger than 108.
- He outlines what he calls his “My 5”.
- Why the destination is not negotiable.
