In this episode, you are going to learn from my friend, Founder and CIO of Inspiring HR, Mindy Flanigan. If I were to summarize into one word my experience knowing Mindy, it would “integrity”. She simply has integrity in what she says, how she says it, how she makes you feel, in her actions, how she treats her clients, vendors, professional peers, employees, community. And I know that integrity is critically important to her.
I thought it was just a few years ago when I first met Mindy but looking back at my notes, it was 2013 when we first met. It was a few years before I formally started my own business, that I first met Mindy. She was generous enough to make time to meet with me.
In this interview, we talk about:
- The unexpected benefit her corporate team experienced when Mindy was on bed-rest for 12 weeks while pregnant with her daughter.
- How HR Policies are like a safety bar on a roller coaster.
- Some common holes that small businesses have and the mindset business owners may need to shift to in order to get the results they need.
- Mindy also shares a free tool to help small businesses find and fix holes in their business.
