It’s an interview with Certified Speaking Professional, Improv Virtuoso, and Author of Two Books, it’s Peter Margaritis. This episode is about: How Improv is more than being funny. It’s about connecting.
Peter and I met recently at a state chapter of the National Speakers Association event where Peter was the workshop facilitator. In a conversation I had with Peter afterward, I invited him to be a guest on the podcast and I’m so glad that he agreed. As you can imagine, I was intrigued when Peter spoke about how to incorporate improv into your business but also how important it is for leaders to approach leading teams with improv.
In this interview, we talk about:
- How Peter became known as the Accidental Accountant.
- When you park your ego and judgment you can use the phrase “Yes and” as a tool to form agreement.
- Peter explains the difference between what he calls Improv Leadership and Ego Leadership.
- Peter describes what edutainment is and how to use it effectively.

Thank you for listening to The Authentic Leader Show Podcast.
I look forward to seeing you next time. Until then, remember, you don’t need to be a leader of leaders. Just be the leader others want to follow. Be, an Authentic Leader.
