It’s an interview with my new friend, Team Consultant & Mindfulness Coach, it’s Alex Peavey. This episode is about: How Mindfulness Increases Confident Your Decision Making.
I was introduced to Alex through my wife. Alex was a guest speaker at the school she teaches at. He spoke to the staff at her school. After hearing him speak, my wife said that I had to have him on my podcast.
After a short conversation, it was immediately apparent to me that I wanted to invite Alex to be a guest on the show. I couldn’t have been more pleased when Alex agreed to be on the show. I have since learned so much from Alex and I am excited to be able to share him with this audience.
In this interview, we talk about:
- Alex shares how easy it is to get ahead of ourselves with what we can’t control and getting clear with what we can control.
- Two misconceptions many people have about mindfulness and they are refreshingly simple.
- Alex explains how our thoughts are tied to emotions and what every emotion is also tied to.
- Have you ever blanked out when you know the answer or what to do but the pressure is on? Well, Alex explains not only why that happens but also how to overcome blanking out.
- Alex provides a very practical and simple-to-do, 4-step meditation (even for non-mediators) when feeling stressed out. He even has a simple answer when you think that you don’t have time for meditation or you realize that you forgot to meditate as he suggests.
