I understand how difficult it is to find the right speaker to fit your event. I have been involved in coordinating speaker events since 2000.

I have spoken to audiences of all sizes at local chamber events, network groups, non-profits, as well as very large audiences at national and international conferences in Las Vegas, Charlotte, Cincinnati, and Salt Lake City just to name a few.

Over the years, I have come to learn that the success of your event completely hangs on the quality of your speaker. Your speaker simply must leave your audience with just the right balance of entertainment and actionable content. My audiences always have fun but also commit to taking identified action from the information I share in my presentations.

Having me speak at your next event is a decision you can make with confidence. I will partner with you to be the easiest speaker you will ever work with.

I appreciate you checking out my speaking page and am honored that you are considering me for your next event.

Working With Me Looks Like This

Each topic includes my personal stories and stories some of my clients have experienced. These stories (mixed in with strategic content) help your audience to walk out of your event with actionable commitments. Although the topics listed below are “ready to go”, I work with you to understand what you need your audience to achieve and I modify these topics to meet your specific need. My goal is for your audience to feel like I am speaking directly to them and their specific needs.

If I have a superpower, it is that I am able to see myself from your audience’s perspective during my presentation. At times, I will shift, as needed, to meet the audience where they are.

Contact me today to discuss topics that fit your audience’s needs. Below is a list of topics I have had the most success.

My Most Requested Topics

An Authentic Leader Story;
7 Changes I Made to Become an Authentic Leader

I share my story of early in my career effectively leading others without a title and then how difficult I learned it was to lead after being promoted. I explain the top 7 things I struggled with as a ‘titled leader’ and the changes I had to make to become an authentic leader. Many of the leaders who I have worked with have these same struggles. Once leaders decide that they need to change and begin taking action, they not only increase their effectiveness as a leader but also increase the performance of the people they lead. These are the struggles almost every leader needs to overcome in their journey to becoming an authentic leader.

This topic applies to new leaders, experienced leaders in new leadership roles, influencers who lead without a title, and experienced leaders who are growing new leaders in their organization.

Creating Results;
Getting Things Done Through Others Without Confrontation

Strategic delegation is critical for any leader who needs to create time to work on more important and higher impact activities. In this presentation, I share the list of reasons I have found that leaders don’t or won’t delegate. I share the reasons delegation fails and why delegation is one of the best tools for developing high performance on a team. Your audience will learn the three questions leaders must ask before delegating and how to walk through the four phases of delegation.

Confrontation and conflict are real concerns for leaders when holding people accountable. Your audience will have confidence using the simple four-step process that virtually eliminates conflict and confrontation when holding people accountable.

Taking Control of Your Brand;
Establishing and Growing Your Influence Through Your Personal Brand

Many people don’t make time to consider their personal brand. To be effective, they need to be strategic about their brand and how their brand connects to their organization’s brand. A purposeful personal brand will help them grow their influence in their organization, community, and industry. This presentation helps your audience learn about their current brand (whether they know it or not) and how to be intentional about establishing their brand.

Your audience will identify their current brand and receive a framework for establishing an intentional personal brand. This presentation helps leaders to identify the benefits of a strong personal brand. Your audience will determine their brand’s current reach and where their brand may need to reach to achieve their goals.

Leading Through Prioritization;
Ensuring Focus on High-Performance Activities

It is hard to have confidence knowing that at any given moment, your time is spent on the most important activities [that will create high performance]. To increase that confidence, this presentation shows how critical it is to have a system. Your audience will identify a system that fits their how they work so that they can increase their confidence that they are working on the most important activities and how those activities align with their mission, purpose, and goals.

Your audience will learn about a simple criteria system that will categorize every activity and then easily determine how to prioritize the most impactful activities. They will also understand how focusing on the right activities help move from “normal” performance to high-performance.

Using Resources that Make a Difference in You;
Grow Your Influence Through Untapped Development Tools

It has been said, “if you aren’t growing you are dying”. There are so many options available for personal and professional growth. How do people keep from being overwhelmed by these options and choose to make the most of their time?
In this presentation, discover readily (many times free) development tools that are available to expand your influence, learn new skills, and expand your thinking. Your audience will learn how to strategically tap into these resources to learn how to grow with these development resources. We will also discuss how effective people use technology, equipment, tools & systems, and content resources to help them maximize their production every day.
