It’s an interview with LinkedIn Video & Content Strategist and Speaker, it’s Judi Fox. This episode is about: Strategically Using LinkedIn to Help You Succeed in Your Business and Your Career.

This is one of my favorite recent interviews. It may have a lot to do with my interest in LinkedIn. I feel like I hit the jackpot by meeting and now interviewing Judi Fox.

Judi is a LinkedIn Rock Star (aka #FoxRocks). She is a nationally recognized expert on LinkedIn who lives near me, so we were able to meet in person for this conversation.

I have pages of notes from this interview. If you are looking for ways to get more out of your activity on LinkedIn, this may be an episode you want to listen to with a pen 🖊️ and paper 📝 (and a finger close to the pause ⏸️ and rewind ⏪ buttons so you can capture all the notes you need).

Can you tell I am excited about this interview? If you have any interest in learning more about LinkedIn, this is the episode to listen to.

In this interview, we talk about:

  • What Judi did for 4 years that created a backlog before her explosion on LinkedIn in 2018.
  • Direct advice you must do in order to go viral, an unconventional take on “vanity metrics” and the real message when someone says “don’t worry about the numbers”.
  • Judi defines the kind of content you should post on LinkedIn (and for contrast, Facebook and Instagram too).
  • Judi shares how investing in LinkedIn can create what is called “Long-Term Career Insurance”.
  • She also shares some really cool functions in LinkedIn and other apps that you are probably not aware of.
  • In her Expert Opinion, what LinkedIn should be doing that it isn’t doing.
