It’s an interview with Olympic Silver Medalist, Best-Selling Author, NBC analyst, it’s John Coyle. This episode is about: “Strategies For Using Chronic Stress So That You Can Grow”.

It’s rare that I ever have anyone on the podcast more than once. In John’s case, I was glad to make an exception. John is the same person behind the scenes that you see on international stages or as an Olympic sports commentator. A few weeks ago, John checked in to see how I was doing.

Our conversation lead to a discussion about having him back on the show to talk about new concepts he’s been sharing. It’s an honor that John agreed to come back on the show.

In this interview, we talk about:

  • John explains the bad stress many of us are under is ‘chronic stress’ which is different than ‘episodic stress’ which is good for us.
  • Why your neighbors are taking walks and how petting puppies is one of the top 3 ways a study has proven that adults can recover from stress.
  • A key way (and a fun way) you can reframe your relationship with stress.
  • John shares a property that all organic things have which is a property that can help all organic things to grow.
  • The four steps to increase performance under stress.

I look forward to hearing from you. Until then, remember, you don’t need to be a leader of leaders. Just be the leader others want to follow. Be, an Authentic Leader.
