The podcast is taking a break from interviews after more than 80 interviews on the podcast to focus on Leaders who are in Tech.

One of the most painful and expensive issues leaders in the technical industry experience is losing key talent on their team. Not only is it terribly expensive and time-consuming to replace key talent, but it’s also a massive disruption to the team, directly impacts productivity, and in some cases, the leader loses the ability to provide highly technical services or products.

I saw this first hand when I spend more than 25 years in corporate IT departments and now as I work with people who lead technical teams. This is why I am passionate about helping leaders in tech to avoid this pain.

Here are some of the highlights from this episode.

  • Knowing the difference between what you are concerned with vs. where you have influence and what increases your influence.
  • How you can identify what might be time-wasting activities.
  • I explain what happens after you let go of an arrow and how it relates to what you can control.
